Christmas Fair 2012
Edge Assist formed a relationship with the Childhood Cancer Association in 2009 and, since 2010, has hosted a Christmas Fair to bring joy and laughter to children and families who have lived with the immense grief, suffering and heartache of a cancer diagnosis.
Edge Assist sought a grant to assist with the purchase of over 450 of gifts that are provided to the children and families that attend the annual Christmas Fair. They seek to ensure that the children are each provided with a wonderful gift that they will be able to take away and perhaps help them recall a special day when the days ahead may become difficult.
The Directors of UCF approved a $2,000 grant to Edge Assist to help fund the 2012 Christmas Fair children’s gifts.
