Therapeutic Sand Play Project
Centacare is a well known South Australian community service agency involved in the care of families and children.

Centacare works with families with complex and multiple needs. The children are often at risk and their development often delayed.

Universal Charitable Fund has provided a $700 grant to purchase therapeutic play equipment to be used by children during their engagement with therapists.

Centacare has a Sand Play Therapist who was able to conduct a full day training session for other staff. Using the UCF grant funds, the staff have compiled a portable kit that can be taken to home visits or used in their counselling rooms. They are looking forward to some enriching and positive outcomes for their clients.
