ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia Projects – Adelaide Bridges and Pathways Institute Inc (B&P) is a not-for-profit charity established in 1999 with the aim of improving the lives (health outcomes) of Australians living with complex chronic conditions. 100% of their work is done by volunteers who share their skills and expertise to achieve B&P’s goals.
Bridges and Pathways’ work is unique in that their projects are directed towards younger people and the low priority chronic conditions. Currently B&P are focusing on the poorly understood conditions of ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain/Fatigue Syndromes (ME/CFS/FMS).
B&P has never had professional, appropriate branding and livery. As the lead information organisation in SA for ME/CFS, it is imperative that their educational publications, brochures and identity are recognisable to both the medical fraternity and consumers as originating from B&P as a known, trusted, experienced and reliable source.
Tools are also needed to develop resources for South Australian medical practitioners and consumers which are compatible with International Protocols. Initially we will pilot these in selected medical practices.
UCF provided a $2,000 grant which will enable B&P to:
obtain professionally designed and printed B&P livery -logos, letterhead, business cards
produce templates and printing of brochures and education sheets and promotional practice tools (bookmarks etc) with diagnostic reminders.
produce forms and brochures for clinics and consumers.
brand B&P as a recognisable lead agency for information on ME/CFS/FMS.
